The big make-over!

Above, pictures of my viv in the "before" stage, awaiting it's make-over lol.

I am planning on changing the inside completely with a rocky forest theme, with loads of elevated area and the forest theme incorporated in the background aswell.

I am going to be using egg crate to create the elevated areas, as so done in the follwing pic (which is not my viv, "yet" lol):

Right, Let's Get Started

Shopping list:

*egg crate (ordered, and on the way)
*silicone adhesive, latex free
*PVC connectors
*spaghum moss
*I'm thinking cork bark landscape: river rock gravel slate driftwood pieces lots of plants (I'll let you know what I use when I get to this step)
*and anything else that comes to mind

Is that cedar chips?

Make sure that you close all those holes, so the snake doesnt get stuck in anyway!

no they are like pine chips, totaly safe lol

and all the holes are going to be covered with a plastic film

so no escapes

Cedar and pine shavings have oils that can kill your snake, They are not in anyway safe!

IMO still not safe.

Papertowels, carefresh, newspaper, and reptile carpet are the safest ways to go.

One half is now done apart from plants, and a few touch-ups
iv put all the plastic sheeting on, and all the moss.
(its hard to see from the angle of the pics, but it has different height levels, in the pics it looks flat lol)

And here is the second half, which im starting to put the plastic sheeting on.

right iv stormed ahead now.......

putting plastic on the second half:

most of the plastic sheeting is on, and im now starting on the moss:

ok, all the moss is now on, along with the plastic sheeting. its had a plant added to it, (dont ask me what it is) and i have mixed the wood chips with the moss and reptile dirt. it still needs to be tidied up, and in background you can see someone's tail lol, she has gave it her seal of approval Very Happy

right, now im hoping to get the other half in today, here is a before pic.....
