Ban on fox hunting in the UK.
Im guessing you all know about the ban on fox hunting in the UK, well anyway it was a great idea, but it has not really done anything, people are still hunting foxes.
My uncle works on a farm in dorset, and he came down to see me yesterday and he was telling me about fox hunting and how he caught people fox hunting the other week at the farm he works at, with all their horses and dogs.
And he said that is the second time in 4 months that he has caught them, so him told the police that they were hunting and on private land, and the police said "deal with it yourself".

So this fox hunting ban is not really a concern. well thats what they think.

I have not heard anything about this, since I am not from the U.K. But unfortunately, I am not surprised that people are still hunting foxes, maybe even more than before. It's like when you tell a little kid to not do something, it just makes them want to do it even more. I do hope that enforcement is increased though, foxes are a personal favorite animal.

Well i dont think its going to be possible tp stop them. I just dont understand why people hunt animals for fun. Its just cruel.
They wouldnt like it if i hunted them. Evil or Very Mad

And also on tv when i see bear bating and other things like that just for entertainment for tourists that makes me sick, and i just feel like finding that person and....well lets not go there, but lets say they make me mad. Mad

I understand what you mean. Now-a-days, hunting animals is not necessary, I can understand hunting for certain situations where survival by hunting is needed, but just as a sport, I find it to be worthless and just a waste of time.

I remember seeing a rather disturbing video about a marine throwing a puppy off of a cliff. And there was a large discussion/ arguement about whether humans should be allowed to do this. It just dumbfounded me that someone would actually consider this as fun, and that it should be allowed.

I totaly agree.
But what can be done?
Apart from taking the law into your own hands.

Nothing, we can only stop what we see. It's unfortunate that this is how the world works, but without thing like this happening, our world wouldn't be what it is today. Sad

Yea, we can only stop what we can see.

Keeping on the subject; i went to africa last year to kenya, massia mara.
In this area there was a tribe called the massia, and they kept 100's cattle and every now and then at night a lion kills one of the cows, and if the massia can catch the lion they will kill it.
now some people agree with that and some dont,
what do you think?

Well, killing the lion isn't going to do much, as the lion has more than likely stuck out it's territory there, and once it dies, another lion will come in and get the territory. I think they should just do something to try to get the cattle more protected, all I can think of.

well the massia live in the "bush" so they try to stay out of the way of the lions but if the lions are without food they will go into the massia village (gathering of straw huts) and kill the cows for food.

But the african government are trying to introduct a new system; for everyone of the cows killed by a lion the massia get $25. now i think that is a good insentive.
