are yuh using warm water for the water dish coz if yuh are it could be that

no, cold water, but from going on what brizzy said it could be the humidity reader, its an exo terra one, the cheapest in the shop.

I would opt for a digital one, the analog temp and humidity guages can be pretty far off sometimes.
