Well that was a short-lived false alarm. Sounds like he just was shedding. Normal for all reptiles to not eat before shedding.

I did not, unfortunately. The teacher that kept the reptiles is a bit too stubborn to let me take them, he was quick to say no. So there is not much I can really do besides help clean out the cages.

The conditions they were being kept in. A majority of the equipment they had were faulty, and stopped working, think no heat pads for the snakes, and no basking lamps for the turtles. So, I was hoping to take some of the Leo's, but never was able to attain that goal. It's unfortunate, but is common.
