| Depends mate wild rats are pests but captive bred are sweet but people don't see it that way but the hobby of rats is growing I mean look at snakes that's a huge hobby as there a million of forum dedicated to the topic of serpents |

| Like Johonny said, it depends on where your talking from. Wild rats, such as the infamous ones in New York City, are MASSIVE (think cat or dog-sized.) And they tend to cause alot of problems in the subways and the trains. But this also means that they are incredibly smart, and one of the most adaptable species of animal I know. _________________ The only difference between the animal and the human, are the letters that they are spelled with. |

| | We have wild rats ..they sit under the bird feeders to get any crumbs..last night i went to shut my chucks in & a rat was making off with an egg. |
