| What are snails like at cleaning an aquarium? people say they will clean up but at the same time they leave a slime trail behind every where, would you say that snails would be better at cleaning a tank than cory's? _________________

Well, I don't really think there are any "cleaning fish" in the fish world. Because it is the fish keepers job to clean the tank. But, if your talking about brigs, they produce more waste than stuff they clean up. Also, they need supplemental feeding. Common pest snails, don't really need to be fed, but don't really do anything to clean up. _________________ The only difference between the animal and the human, are the letters that they are spelled with.

Well, it depends on what type of cories your talking about. And, in all honesty, I doubt your current tank can take that amount of fish. _________________ The only difference between the animal and the human, are the letters that they are spelled with.

If its just for algal control I would say that otto's or a Bristle nose (depending on the tank size) would be more effective that a small shoal of cories. However, if algae is a large problem it is most likely due to an excess of light or nutrients. You should check to make sure the tank is not in direct sunlight, or is not being overfed/fertilised; both of these factors are primary contributors of algal abundance.

Well, I'm glad the algae is gone, but repeat after me: No more fish! Trust me, you have more than enough fish. _________________ The only difference between the animal and the human, are the letters that they are spelled with.
